Have you heard of the Cooperative Difference?

Two aspects of a cooperative make us different from other types of utilities.

Roughrider Electric Cooperative members are owners in the cooperative. We exist because of you. We were formed to bring safe and reliable electricity to our members--it's our mission and purpose. And our members elect fellow members to represent them on the board of directors, maintaining democratic control of the cooperative.

We are local.

When you need to talk to someone simply call or stop in and visit with a Roughrider employee right here in your community.
