Electric Heat

There are many different types of electric heat that satisfy your heating requirements. These include Baseboards, Cove Heat, Wall units, Unit Heaters, Boilers, and Electric Furnaces.

Metered Electric Heat Program. Member is required to install a heat submeter on the permanently installed heaters in the building. Typical installations are homes, shops, dairy or beef barns with electric heat. Program runs from October 1 to April 30 each year. The member receives a 2.9 cent discount on all heat kilowatt hours used for space heating between these dates. Heat is not turned off.

Energy Efficiency Rebates. The Energy Efficiency Rebate program includes Ground-Source Heat Pumps and Air-Source Heat Pumps. Visit our Rebate Page for Information.  Rebates
