Seasonal Apprentice Lineman

Roughrider Electric has an opening for (2) Seasonal Apprentice Lineman. There will be 1 position based in Dickinson and 1 position based in Hazen. Under direct supervision of a Journeyman, this position constructs and repairs electric distribution and transmission line of the cooperative in efficient operating order. Install lightning arrestors, circuit breakers, regulators, transformers, and other equipment as necessary. Work on energized lines using approved gloving methods and hotline tools and respond to outage calls.

Roughrider Electric operates transmission and sub-transmission at 230,115, 69, 57 and 41.6 KV and overhead and underground distribution at 24.9 & 12.47 KV. The successful applicants will work effectively and safely in a fast-paced, mentally challenging, physically demanding outdoors environment.
